Rant: New and 'Improved' MSN Live

The new versions quite nifty.
I installed it, along with A-Patch, and it seems far less cluttered, and all the needless advertisments and 'information bars' are gone, meaning that i can view my entire contact list now.
It also seems more 'fast'.
Although it takes longer to login to MSN itself, the window redraws instantly and still responds, unlike before, when it'd take about 3mins to redraw and acted like it had crashed.

Been using the Live Beta since release and ain't had any trouble with it whatsoever......Speed wise or anything

No complaints here......New versiom looks nifty :o

Only problem Im' having with it...

When you right click on the green guy in the systray and click send instant message, how do I get it where on the previous versions it only showed online contacts?

I've now got my list of 190 odd contacts which includes all the offline ones, when theres like 9 online, therefore being terribly unhelpful :o...

Anyone :)?

Thanks,

Pierre.

the latest version lasted 30 minutes on my pc today. The "other contacts" group is still at the bottom of the list rather than the top, and the sound when someone signed in was ridiculous.

put it this way, mine works perfectly... my last one was pacthed no advertisements was awesome :)

and it is very fast at signing on :) winnor.

i have a program .exe its a patcher removes the Advertisement bar at the bottom...

so you can see more contacts instead of stretching the window,

anyone interested?..

A-Patch will remove the advertisments as well. As well as loads more becides.
Im impressed with A-Patch. Its far more useful than MSN Plus imo.

When it crashes, i recommend that people send the error reports off to MS. It'll help them with the final version/s, which can only benefit us. :)

##EDIT##
Ive just noticed that changing between contact view options causes MSN to crash.
