I finished it last night, one last trophy to get and I'll have the platinum.
Really enjoyed it, some great level designs with quite large areas at times, great assortment of weapons and I've always liked the R&C system of rewarding you for using the weapons you enjoy by levelling them up quicker. Enjoyed the story and characters, Jennifer Hale was excellent as Rivet although I wish they'd done more to make her a more unique character in terms of gameplay or abilities as it felt like a bit of a missed opportunity. I also felt it was odd that game mechanics it introduces you to early on are then seldom used through the rest of the game like throwing your wrench, jump-climbing walls, phantom dashing through security barriers etc.
Visually it's utterly stunning, I played on Performance RT mode so you lose some resolution clarity but it's more than made up for by the lighting and frame rate. I briefly tried the 30fps Fidelity mode and while it does look sharper and cleaner, you immediately lose that in motion due to the lower framerate. I never had a problem playing console games at 30fps even as a PC gamer also, but 60fps on consoles should become a mainstay feature of all (or at least, most) games in future. Great audio design too, sounded great the few nights I used the Pulse 3D headset with it. The haptic feedback and resistive triggers are used brilliantly and really shows what can be done with them e.g. aiming and firing with the same trigger.
A few things lacked a bit of polish, the map is pretty poor but functional I suppose, and as minor a complaint as it is, I was surprised it didn't use the DualSense's LEDs to any effect. Also odd is that one set of collectible items aren't tracked on any menu anywhere, was rather frustrating having to backtrack through past levels to check if I'd got the CraiggerBear or not.
