Seen a couple of threads on TamiyaClub forums recently of people building these - look like great bits of kit!Made a chassis for the Tamiya Lunchbox, UKMonsters Pro Carbon Chassis Kit.

So you are UK Monsters!?Appreciate that. It wont be limited run or anything, I will have them in stock all the time.
So you are UK Monsters!?
In that case, I’ll buy two!
What class and surface?Took a trip to the local track last night. I have no idea what to go for. There’s so many options!
Tarmac.What class and surface?
Is the TT02 class they run limited in modifications/upgrades? If it is it's a great class and easy and cheap to get into and learn the ropes on.Tarmac.
I’m not sure what class. TT02 looks easy to get into, but they also do a Mini class. Which I used to race as a kid but no one had mini shells![]()
I used to race off road but Hastings is still like 40 minutes on a good day, and we usually do things on the weekend so an evening is preferred. Is the TT02 class they run limited in modifications/upgrades? If it is it's a great class and easy and cheap to get into and learn the ropes on.
Some clubs run a TT02 class where you can change everything apart from the chassis tub, this tends to be a terrible class as you end up with £500+ TT02's which still don't go as well as other cars of similar cost.
For minis you can't really go wrong with the Tamiya M07 - fantastic car out of the box.
Eastbourne are running Kamtec/Mardave minis indoors on Saturday nights now - so if you don't want to freeze to death or get rained on then that's worth a look.
It might also be worth checking out 1066 racing in Hastings, personally I think off road is more enjoyable, and the 1066 outdoor track in Bexhill is epic (and astro so no mud).
Unfortunately the MB01 is a sloppy mess of a car - but yeah that body set is awesome!I used to race off road but Hastings is still like 40 minutes on a good day, and we usually do things on the weekend so an evening is preferred.
I much preferred racing off road but hey ho!
I’ll take a look the rules for the TT02. The new MB01 looks wicked.

Well that makes me a little sad. The Mk2 Golf is coming out on that platform.Unfortunately the MB01 is a sloppy mess of a car - but yeah that body set is awesome!
They'll be loads of places selling the body sets separately I'm sure, plenty of kit breakers out there and Tony's Tamiya Parts should already have the golf shell available (as is was used on the MF01X chassis by Tamiya on a release last year).Well that makes me a little sad. I actually really enjoy messing with them, the MT10 had a fair few upgrades before I even ran it and a few minor things done to the Kraton.Im so tempted to get back into this hobby, the 6S Kraton was one of my favorites, that and the Outcast.
I loved racing them but was terrible at doing repairs/fault finding so sold them![]()
