Looks good to me for $999.....am I missing something....

Well that's how much they are in the US... we need to wait to see how we are brutalised, but yeh it's not bad, i'll need to see some reviews first though.

Ill try and get a Sapphire card if it's priced right, they are the ones i've had before and have good cards from them.

Yeah gotta see reviews. I'm not in the market for a card but seems well placed, at first glance.

It is because people like you keep defending Nvidia pricing and keep paying £1650 for RTX4090 and defending those who are.

So if AMD priced it at £1100,it's still a ripoff, but Nvidia charges you 50% more. The RTX4070 is literally now a RTX4080 16GB for £1300. Same with Turing.

But people like you will spin DLSS3,more RT,better drivers, etc and then its all OK.

Nvidia is the company that set's the price ceiling, not AMD. So even an RX6900XT was a ripoff but it was cheaper than what Nvidia had.

Then for mainstream buyers like me,we get even more screwed.
How am I defending NVIDIA? I just dont think they're to blame if AMD rip us off.

AMD are to blame if AMD rip us off .
NVIDIA are to blame if NVIDIA rip us off.

Its embarassing that you want to blame NVIDIA for AMD's potential actions.

NVIDIA are a terrible company. They rip us off, they over price, their pricing is shaemless, they lock features away, they dont use open standards. I'm not some silly little fanboy.

However I'm also not about to blame AMD for NVIDIA's actions.
