Re-making Classic games with high res graphics..

For me it has to be the Delta force series , Max Payne and the old spetrum or amiga cant remember now.......The way of the Exploding fist!!! and the old arcade classice Kung Fu master..oh a Jet Pac....and last but not least.....Sensi :)

Bioshock is not the next System Shock, it just is seen as the spiritual successor, Ken Levine also has had a big input in the game, like with SS2.

Pretty much my list as well. I loved all those games and with new modern graphics they would rock.

Hell, if they released them all even at £45 each I would buy all of them on one hit without even thinking.
 
I would love to see Cannon Fodder HD and Megalomania HD. I loved this games back in the day on my amiga. Oh and a old game called Slicks on my c64 that was sweet :)
 
I agree with all the X-Wing/Tie Fighter comments.

Plus, I'd love to see X-Com, the first one done with decent graphics. Everyone since then went more and more wrong, but the first was sheer class.

(Would it be too bitchy to say....Dragon Age: Origins? :D )

Hopefully, Thief (4) and Deus Ex (3) are already getting the hi-res do-over that they deserve.

Agreed. Unless i've missed out i've not seen any other fps games where you can blow limbs off and the enemy still lives. Or if you get shot in the leg you limp.
Hit detection on games could take a page from the SOF book imho. Even in BFBC2 you can shoot a guy in the toe and kill him. :rolleyes: :confused:

I'll also echo what others have said, would love to see either revamped Star Wars (starfighter, tie-fighter, x-wing) games or new Jedi ones, loved Outcast and Academy, purely for the sabre duels. I used to play Outcast for hours in the hangar at the end, just mod spawning force users to do battle with.
They NEED to make another jedi games (for the pc) with the same/better intuitive sabre moves, not like force unleashed (console) which was soggy panties.
 
I'm still hoping that Nintendo will bring GB/GBC/GBA games to the DSi store, and release Ocarina of time on their next handheld, bugger HD graphics, I want teh gameplay!

also while we're on the topic of PC gaming, I loved this game as a kid!

What for, blood or moonstone? I play blood on DOSbox and it works perfectly.

In your other post i just found that in page 6 you mentioned that you had forgot moonstone (as i posted in about it in there too) but there are not links in your posts to a remake or downloadable version of it
