Too early yet but generally speaking, the bands that are lower down the list will be playing first.

Ah, i still remember the Towers of London opening Reading 2006 at midday to a slightly..bemused crowd. :p

Jimmy Eat World have been removed from the lineup.

Allthough it was strongly rumoured they were going to be headlining the lockup on friday at Reading to give them 2 sets in one day, akin to what flogging molly did last year:
A: Main stage set to play to loads of people, fans and newcomers alike.
B: Much longer set on the intimate lockup stage.

However it seems they will just be lockup headliners now, as surely they can't have pulled out for the second time, especially after just a day!

Yup good news. Even if i would have preferred bands not to play twice really, i'd rather have JEW play twice than not at all!

I'm going to risk a prediction here, And You Will Know Them By The Trail Of Dead... are playing the Academy in London on the 21st, it'd be a shame to travel all that way and not do the festivals ;)

Loads of us going now.. going to Headingley the night before too so its going to be mayhem.

looking forward to this as i couldnt make it to glasto should be immence, free beers for who ever can find me behind the bar :p

Are any tickets likely to be released soon or at all? I've got a mate who needs one tis all.

Also, I can't believe Tokyo Police Club are going to be there! So many other great bands as well, it pays to listen to more obscure bands apparently because all the metal heads that I keep talking to are saying the line up is rubbish.

Think you need the big bad auction site for tickets.

Expect expensiveness too :( well he might get lucky and get a reasonable priced ticket...

good luck

If your still without tickets try writing to mean fiddler, for the last two years the tickets sold out before we could afford them. Both times we wrote to mean fiddler telling them basically the above and both times they asked us to send a cheque and we got tickets :) .

Going to Reading for the first time this year, been to Leeds for the last five years and fancied a change. Im massively excited about seeing Smashing Pumpkins, seen hundreds of bands since I saw them in '96 and nothing else has come close to the show they put on that night.

Not long to go now, only three weeks away and I'll be ready to set off to Leeds. Looking forward to seeing Foward, Russia! aswell now on the Thursday night "Welcome to Leeds 07" party!

Any idea when they send out the early entrance passes?
