Reading Festival 2007

See, both festivals have huge potential for trouble, you'd be a fool to think otherwise tbh. Put 1000 people in a nightclub with bouncers 20 seconds away and you get fights, put tens of thousands of people in a dark field with a light authority presence, quarter of a million pints of beer, a van full of drugs and a load of fire... it's amazing we don't all die :D

Should I be worried if my actual weekend ticket hasn't arrived yet?
I mean I got my early entry pass on Friday, but that's useless unless I get my proper one. :(

Only worrying just incase Royal Fail decide they don't want to work again.
Theres a good chance if you ordered them from a company that they will courier them if royal mail decide to strike again

Is it true under 14's can get in for free or something? if so might be able to secure me a ticket :D
Yep that is correct as long as there with a paying adult as far as i know

Yea a few of my friends still have them on, they really do smell of sweat etc, disgusting tbh. However I'm going to keep mine on this year :p

I had heard rumors of that, is it actually true? I'm just in competition with a couple of mates on who can keep them on the longest. :D I've also found them to be very good teaching aides as my learners notice them and start talking about the festival, very good ice breaker when you've got a new group.

Every year the same rumour goes around about free beer. I've never seen it happen, anyone?

As for ice-breakers, yes I suppose. BUt if I see one the conversation usually starts with "Eww you dirty tramp!" :p

I keep mine on for a couple of week afterwards, then it gets added to my collection of gig tickets and stuff. :)

^ Agree with the comment above...it's funny seeing other people wearing it and it's always funny to make eye contact and gesture towards the wristbands as if to say "We are SO cool"... :o

Also, WAIT until a few days before the festival and the tickets on eBay will be a lot cheaper. :)

Be patient!
