It's faster than an overclocked 980Ti in GTA V with launch drivers

Honestly, it's a resounding success.
Yeah them benches are bs.

I'll try running the same clocks on one 290X for a bench. I don't think my Elpida memory will hit the clocks, though.
Yeah them benches are bs.
I can't stand that guy....he drones on for 25 mins on crap in his videos...

This. Won't be watching his videos again.
I like how he gave the 390x a gold star when it's just a 290x with more vram that on its own will never use and has slightly higher clock

We can all cherry pick crap benchmarks, I honestly don't know what that guys doing but his 295x2 isn't working properly and a 290x beats the 980ti as well.

He rates most stuff at gold or great so pointless watching his videos. These days he is nothing more than an advert and not a review.
There is nothing about this card that is rebrand, its a totally new card.

AMD really shot themselves in the foot. TBH i wouldnt mind if the 290x was rebranded as the 380x and sold for £180-£200. that's where this card should be
£180-£200 is not a realistic price at all, even for the 390 (non-X).

From what I can see only the ASUS can be mistaken for a rebrand but it's unlikely. How could it be a rebrand if it has worse minimums in some games, did they release it with self sabotaging driver so it looks to perform differently?
£180 - £200.... you are really joking right ? These card compete with the GTX 980 which is still £400.... why would they sell them at half the price.
but if it was re-branded a 380X - it should be sold according to its mid/high end market place. 290x - £220 now with these new cards those prices should have fell, but i believe the contrary will happen thanks to the re-brand. if it was correctly re-branded as a 380x it should have not been priced a penny more then £200. after all the 290 i've seen for £175 new.
