Firefly is one of the best things ive ever seen. Great characters. Serenity (the film) is good, but the tv series is better.

My favourite sci-fi series ever, even though i didn't really like it at first. Seasons 3 and 4 are pure class from start to finish, but you really should see them all.

More votes for Battlestar Galactica (new series) and Firefly (and Serenity the film, although watch the tv series first to get to know the characters)

iirc theres a new serise of firefly out soon! or being made soon

Not heard this at all, in fact although they are all signed up to 3 films I heard that any more were under threat as the first didn't do that great at the box office, despite being generally very well received. Got any further info on a new series, as that is what the show is suited to really.

V - Watched this one recently.

American Gothic - I remember this.

4400 - got this on dvd, its really good but they keep cutting it off. They are on season 2 ep 12 if I remember correctly, they've not made another yet. Strange.

The last train - Good stuff this.

Everything I can think of has already been mentioned but will agree on the recommendations of Dark Skies and Firefly both slighty different from the usual Sci-fi and both very good.

another vote here for firefly and serenity, very good story in my opinion

but what i heard was just a sequel to serenity, no more of the series which is a bummer, but i'm not sure so i'll ask my friend and try to get the link about it
