If you run a lot you will see why people wear them. They make it so much easier when im running on a night on the roads and cushion it so your joints arnt prone to injury as much.
Addidas Superstars for the win! Not the II, the first ones. There's one smart one, white, it's got a little star in the corner of each trainer. I think it looks great. Trouble finding them though.
I woudlnt, Size? is full of poncy elitist sales assistants who think their store doesnt need your cash. Most specialist trainer stores in London are like this.
There's a private store near Convent Garden that does sportsware. My mate took me there. Absolutely love it! I can barter with the shopkeeper because it's private, plus, they've got loads of exlclusive old school stuff. I love it!
True there are some great Mom n Pop Stores (as they call them in the USA) where there can be treasure troves of original gear from the 80's and 90's especially if they let you have a poke around in the stock room. Some of the shopkeepers are so happy to get rid of the old stuff, even though on the bay its worth quite a bit. However stores like Size have an attitude like places such as FCNY in New York.
Apart from a pair of Green Flash, the 3 pairs of Reebok Classic variants I bought a couple of years ago are still going strong.
They're a bit worn compared to when I took those pics though!
I'm not a chav as far as I'm aware, does this mean I am no longer allowed to wear Reebok Classics? If so I couldn't care less, I wear them because I like them
