Recommend me some trainers

I was a latter part of the 80's trainer vibe through having an older brother. Drove my mum and dad mental us wanting new trainers all the time. I was **** of the walk slightly later with Fila, Reebok Pump, Air Jordan, Air Classics and Air Tailwind

My local Foot Locker won't stock the Adicolor Denim :(

[edit]Ooooh, JD Sports have them

Air Jordan VII were the ones to have for a while when i was a nipper. We tended to avoid buying Rebebok Pump round our way for fear of the burst squads who went round popping them with pins!

Adidas dominated the 80s
Nike the 90s
The 00s have had rubbish trainers- hence why the retro trainers are coming back in.

If I want to wear spaceman shoes I will join NASA. Nike Shox do not look good. End of.

I couldn't agree more. I spent years scouring the shops for new trainers that I liked. They simply don't exist.

Sorry to hijack a worthwhile thread but.....since you lot are actually knowledgable about this sort of stuff maybe you could help me. i have been searching high and low, searching EVERYWHERE for another pair of the trainers below. I don't know what they are called, I haven't found them online, haven't seen them in the shops. If i find them i'm gonna buy 10 pairs. I've had these for about 4 years (yeah i know ...they look it too....) i bought them when i was living in england and havent seen em since, in england or ireland.

If any of you can help i would much very grateful.

Nate

Lacoste make some nice trainers in a similar style to the addidas stan smiths.

Gilly, when you're ever down in London, check out Size on Carnaby Street. There's a Converse store on the top floor, but apart from that, there's nothing but retro trainers and sportswear :D

They have a Size in most Selfridges as well don't they?

They certainly do. Size do a great selection of retro trainers. They also do a selection of vomit coloured crazy shoes.

And those boxers boots. What's that all about? Boxing boots are for the ring, not walkin round town on in the local.

OI! Student! NO! As much as I appreciate your attempt to further your education and contribute to the growth of the country I will NOT tolerate your bad taste in footwear. Wearing Chris Eubank's hand-me-downs is not cool at all!!!
