Recommend me some trainers

As per thread title, I don't usually ask for opinions as I usually go for Air Max 95's but I fancy something different. Also £115 is a little expensive for now, maybe next time round.

They're to be worn with Jeans/Tracksuit pants.

Friends have been recommending Addidas Stan Smith's, Lacoste, K-Swiss. What do you guys recommend? Images+Links would be nice :)
 
I've seen some adidas Mr. Men and Kermit the frog ones, very cool... wouldn't wear them myself though. :p

I bought a pair of Phat Farm trainers the other week there and they look pretty cool.

Seems as if everyone and their dog is wearing K-Swiss nowadays but stuff going with the crowd I say :)

I notice that too but i got mine before "everyone and their dog" started wearing them. Mines are a year old, still great condition and i love them :)
 
White reebok classics.

You can wear them for all your social events eg:

Sharing a 3ltr bottle of cider in the park with 8 mates.
Riding arround on busses greifing anyone that goes upstairs.
Playing music on your mobile phone in public (make sure its crap RnB or Rap)
Hanging about outside chip shops and takeaways with your 30 mates.

all 3 of the above k-swiss are horrible :/

if any just get the PLAIN white ones

Skate shoes all the way though as they are SOOOO comfy!
 
I just bought another pair of Superstar II's :o

Im like a Woman when it comes to trainers, go for some Adidas Superstars like Gilly said, there aint a better pair of trainers to wear with jeans :)
 
I've always been a fan of Puma Speedcats in all their variations. I had some of the original ones when they were properly fireproofed. Thing is, everyone and their dog's got a pair now, so I was looking for something similar, but different.

Might fine taste Gilly. Air Max Classics are very nice but they're edging towards £100 mark.

I like the Superstars and Stan Smiths. Including student discount they're on for £45 which is pretty cheap. Might go for the latter :)
