Recommend me some trance?

Not a fan of trance (more of a progressive house fan) but what is it about trance that makes me feel the need for a ****?

Something about the tempo of the beat loosens my bowels :D
 
would say its progressive psy trance the first one?

abit slow for me i prefer a crystal clear bassline, although i am partial to a few of the softer sides of trance. i listened to them though, and they were good but ive not actually heard the originals to compare what you've added/removed will take a look later
 
Its always interesting to hear what people come up with genre wise when it comes to music. There's been so many new ones that have popped up over the past few years its crazy . I personally wouldn't class it as progressive psy, more just prog trance but if that's where it fits for you then that cool! Nice one for listening to them both - really appreciate it!
 
I can see why he would think it prog-psy if he hadn't been following trance's general evolution over the past few years.

Progressive trance has sorta plit in to 2 sub-categories now, that first track being the deeper/darker version (stuff like Moonbeam).

Then there is a more upbeat/funkier style of progressive trance, like Martin Roth or Soundprank.
 
When Tiesto was good! A lot of the earlier Tiesto stuff was harder so could try anything by him from around 99-2002. Have a scan on youtube for old trance albums of that era to get some ideas, theres so many good tunes from back then it'd take an age to list :) Takes me back to going Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Passion, happy days. Also good times in Ibiza here too, some years back now though!
