Its too futuristic imo. The original RA had it right, proper huge maps that take some tactics rather then spam units and send them all in to attack. RA also had much more realistic things in it, other then a few structures like chronosphere and such.
RA3 also makes water pointless, in RA1 in was an obstacle, it limited movement of ground vehicles and it was fun playing soviets and using subs to try take out the allied battleships. In RA3 too many units can easily travel over water, which means that instead of changing tactics to move arround water, or using it as an advantage, you simply ignore it and play as if its ground, since most units can travel over it anyway.
