Red Dead 2

Is this even being discussed, I thought it was a given although not mentioned yet that it'll come out on the PC. They make far to much money for a simple port 6 months later after release not to.

Seeing RDR is only being released on PS4 and Xbox, The Pro and X will run it at 60FPS, Rage is very optermised, but I am sure you know that.

So just as you believe it will be released I believe it will not be released.

Man, you are going to eat some crow, both in the RDR2 on PC and 60fps on consoles. Will be fun.

I'm def not doubting you on the numbers, but surely if its that much then to state that they're not going to do a pc release is sheer nonsense? its just a matter of when?
 
y'know all this red dead talk is making me think i should re-play the original.

not just remember the bits where joze gonzales randomly starts playing so i don't sit scratching my head wondering what the hell's going on

Rockstar won't say jack about a pc release until it's shifted millions of pounds worth of console peasant gimp sales they will just be in deniel like they have always done, they want double dippers, there's making money and there is pure greed.

GTA V was unique that it has had a 5 platform release. Old gen, then PC PS4 Xbox 1 a year later. Double bubble sales, then drip fed sales from 360 PS3 converting to either New gen/PC.
PC revenue was well less than 20% of revenue for take 2 last year. With GTA still being their biggest winner. Consoles was 81%

However RDR2 won't make anywhere near as much as GTA. There is only so much you can do with horses n stuff. :D

tbf waiting for the pc release isn't that hard, sure it's a money making tactic but if you're that worried about spending twice just decide what platform you want it on and stick to buying it just on that platform.
 
I just hope the release of RDR2 will mean a remaster of RDR and a release of it on the PC. I'd like to be able to play the first game first before the second one. But i want it to look shiny

i literally just fired it up for a go, and whilst it aint modern shiny it's aged pretty well.

resolution and 60+fps would be nice though

Yeah i don't mind waiting, it's just the not knowing are we getting or not lol, i would love to play the first one, and i will once i know there is going to be no remaster, i shall just grab it from ps now, but yeah would really prefer it on my pc with G sync and high frames, i was one the double dippers on GTA V with that on ps4 and then pc just for the higher res and frames.

I just hope we get a pc release, i aint buying a new console just for the sake of 1 game

Unfortunately this is never gonna happen. But you can play the PS3 version on PC via PS Now.

I hate R*'s tactics of pretending there is no PC even more now that I have PS4 Pro. I will be tempted as hell to buy the console version when it comes out (and knowing myself, I will probably succumb), but I really do not want to play RDR2 at 30fps with inferior graphics. With GTA5 I had no PS4 so I had to wait, and the wait was super worth it :)
 
i got out my old ps3 out of underneith the bed & going to play red dead. some parts havent aged well but the game play & story is still superb

Red Dead Revolver didn't come to PC, Red Dead Redemption (one of the best games ever made) never came to PC, I doubt we'll ever see Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC either
