Red Dead 2

Red Dead Revolver didn't come to PC, Red Dead Redemption (one of the best games ever made) never came to PC, I doubt we'll ever see Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC either
i think will 99% will.

think about it rockstar/taketwo have made over 1bn dollars in shark cards alone in GTA V. (a lot from the PC)
PC current players
4. Grand Theft Auto V 68,853

top 5 on steam.
they would be silly not to. even if Rockstar dont take two will force them. selling bail bonds in red dead Online just makes pure sense.

even if only 20,000 people bought £5 of bails bonds your looking at £100K lets not forget rockstar double dip.

the engine supports PC. the game is built on PC & made to work on Xbox which is DX12. no reason not too

their no reason not to put on PC if their going to be putting out bail bonds & making another billion by doing nothing but making micro transactions

Unfortunately this is never gonna happen. But you can play the PS3 version on PC via PS Now.

I hate R*'s tactics of pretending there is no PC even more now that I have PS4 Pro. I will be tempted as hell to buy the console version when it comes out (and knowing myself, I will probably succumb), but I really do not want to play RDR2 at 30fps with inferior graphics. With GTA5 I had no PS4 so I had to wait, and the wait was super worth it :)

I'd be happy for a remaster for the current gen consoles!

Shame GTA Online turned into a micro-transactions game. I despise those types of games. The single player story based game was one of my favorites in recent memory though.
I will get RDR2 when it releases on PC, but if Online is another micro-transaction mess like GTA Online, I will be avoiding that part of the game like the plague.

been playing this again, after about 2 hours & a bit. you find that every mission is the same.

go fetch this, go kill/capture this and return. which is good but doesn't hold up now days as a GOOD game. i'm not sure im going to finish it even though it was my favorite game at the time.

i also reinstalled every GTA From GTA3 onwards. GTA3 also has that same issue of every mission is the same.

Doubt I'll get RDR2 on the PC (and I am 100% sure it'll come, in time) for this reason. Rockstar isn't the same company we know and love anymore. Yes they'll put out a stonking SP experience that WILL make folks double/triple dip but I can't see much future content being made for SP as they'll focus their efforts on milking MP.

It's a shame they didn't do for GTA V what they did for IV, although the latter's expansions were mostly due to a massive cash injection from Microsoft back in the day. IV's expansions were just sheer brilliance.

the Motorbike one was pure epicness i want that as full game

Never played the original RDR is it worth going back to play?
it was a masterpiece at the time & the story is epic. i would say yes if you can get past the graphics (720p!) & a lot of the missions are fairly simlair but can be rewarding. i loved the the way you could be a bad man or a good guy :)

Yarp. They created an excellent looking world, filled with great characters and music. The missions I found rather dull though imo and there wasn't much to do random encounter wise.

Lost & Damned, indeed that was superb. Trevors introduction in GTA V though was shocking :o

i recently reinstalled all the gta but IV and lost and damned requires GFWL & rockstar account which is broken for me :(

though replaying SA/VC in 4K is pretty weird :D

Cheers guys I will have some time to play it next week.

On the GTA front I was let down with the lack of DLC in the story, I was impressed with what they with IV and after I did the story in V I was thinking there is good potential for something good.

I wonder what we'll see first - Cyberpunk 2077, a completed version of Star Citizen, or RDR 2 on the PC....?

For all the brilliance that Rockstar games have, the devs themselves are lazy. They could EASILY have patched out this GfWL nonsense and used Steamworks, for example. 2K did it with Bioshock 2.

Imagine if they released red dead redemption re-mastered alongside red dead 2 on pc. We can only dream!

Red Dead Revolver was crap, couldn't believe they were going to do another one, it was that bad, glad they did, Red Dead Redemption is my favourite game ever made, well worth playing through it you can get passed the dated graphics

It frustrates me to no end that they put PC on the backbench for releases such as this. It would be simply idiotic if they didn't release RDR2 on pc. Particularly when you think in the last few years especially the PC has grown and became a major platform for gaming. I hated how they never brought the original to PC, just think of how beautiful the world of RDR1 would've looked on PC... I gather they also stopped the independent port coming to PC as well?
