Red Dead for only £25!!!

My Ipod has been despatched and it is showing as the correct price on the account.. So they are not too bad..

Also they have Free returns so if they overcharge you can return for free...

Just ordered it for the £25. However if the discounts don't work and i get charged £45 then the OP is going to get a serious beat down!

I'm just passing info on to a forum thats given me so much over the last 3 years.

And if I get a little extra back for doing so, well why not?

Make up your mind.

I've just done that way incase anyone wants to 'thank' me for the find tis all.

This forum/community isn't built on paying other people to help/share good deals. Referral links are against the rules on here. Perhaps next time you run in to a problem the people here will allow you pay them via Paypal or something before they help...you know, to 'get a little something back' for their efforts.

I'm not intentionally trying to give you a hard time here (and I want to keep things good natured!) but it stinks that you're sharing this 'great' deal when in fact all you want from it is a referral click (i.e. money)

Does it really make much difference. Its the same price whether you use the link or go direct. So really someone is getting something for nothing.. I would not have known about the codes without the OP,s help so i,m happy to use a link that costs me nothing and they gain a bit from it as they have saved me £30+ quid....If you get what i mean...

not really the same as it's not your money thats coming to me is it? Very pay the referral.

Not at all. If that where the case, I'd would have tried to hide the retailer so you HAD to use the referral. Like I've said several times, use the link if you want or dont, it really doesn't matter to me.

If at the end of the day 20 people buy and no-one uses the link, I'm not bothered. It seemed like a good idea at the time. You maybe right and that most people think I shouldn't have done it this way. If thats the case, I'll edit the OP to reflect that.

Maybe I'm having a brain fart here, but I'm faiing to see what the problem is.

Would everyone feel better if i removed the referral link?

The problem is, it's a referal link that YOU benefit from people clicking. This (from my knowledge here) is frowned upon on these forums.

again, it's not like an extra £5 is taged on your order that then gets passed to me is it?

It's the same price weather you use the link or not.

However, in the sprit of OCUK, I have edited the OP to make it more clear.

Yes, I have left the link on there but it's more for clearty reasons for people reading the thread. I DON'T expect anyone else to use it. (but thanks if you do :))

I tried but after entering the discounts which showed £25 I went to confirm my online natwest password it stated the payment was £45 so I cancelled.

If you read the small print it says that they charge you the full amount but refund the rest of the money no later then the day its posted.
