Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4, Xbox and PC Hopefully)

First pre-order since the original Gears of War on the 360. I ordered physical media but then decided not to risk getting screwed by NZ Post not delivering so cancelled and bought on the PS Store. About 8 hours to go here in NZ

I had changed my mind, I've ordered physical from Amazon, I decided I'd go PS Store, but then realised I had a dispatch notice from Amazon... I guess I could send it back without opening it? I know sometimes they take a restocking fee though?

Just refuse the delivery.

And there won't be a restocking fee. They're illegal. Pretty much anything you buy over the internet can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Provided it's in a resaleable condition, you cannot be charged a penny (aside from return delivery, which the retailer doesn't have to pay for).
 
I likely won't be home, so it will probably just come through the letter box.

It probably wasn't called a restocking fee, maybe they've just charged me the return postage on some items I've sent back.

**EDIT** I've swung back round to 'don't pay £90 for a game, that's crazy' anyway. What are the chances they let you buy an upgrade later on to go up to ultimate?

I’d say highly likely. After all, it’s money for nothing. I refuse to pay for these “upgrades”. I find the practice abhorrent.

Reviews go up today, be aware that anything is a spoiler these days! I intend to just see what sort of scores it gets out of interest and continue waiting for tomorrow :)
 
I'll be keeping my eyes on the HUKD thread about buying from Indonesia from 5pm. Works out <£32, so if it's working for people then I'll probably bite. Could be playing it by 6/7pm.
 
My amazon order has been dispatched. Lovely - hope I get the pre-lunch time delivery as opposed to the post-dinner time delivery.

I just need to know which console runs RDR2 better :)

If anyone reads something that suggests either way, I'd be keen to know.
