Oh well, 19 months so almost 2 years, still a lot of time.
It was 5 months after the current gen console versions, alongside which the PC version was built.
I for one am glad they didn't construct the PC version off of the old gen versions.

I'll wager this will be released on PC, just like GTA V. Rockstar have tested the water and I expect every future release from them to arrive on PC. They ain't stupid.

Snap if it comes to PC then it's a buy, if it doesn't I'll get it on PS4, either way I'm buying it - loved RDR.

I'm wondering if they'll release it in 1080p first then 4k later, I'd imagine Sony want to push the "Pro" model so probably 4k from the start.
The cynic in me thinks 1080p, then pc announced closer to release) with NO Pro or Xbox Scoprio support, followed by a 4k version months later (sarcasm)
The multiplayer is almost guaranteed to have Rockstars real digital currency - the stuff you buy, to purchase extortionate digital / dlc goods in game

GTA5 came out on PC eventually, so I think it's more likely that it will than it wont. But it might be as long as a year after console release.

With Microsoft wanting the PC platform to be on level ground with the Xbox, that's another plus for RDR2 coming to PC.

I wish i could see it in the same way but i just can't imagine it happening. Games like these and the last of us are massive console sellers due to the disgrace that is exclusivity. I have said before that i believe the only reason anything should be allowed to be exclusive is on the chance X platform isn't technically capable of running it. That would leave only a few titles astray from certain platforms.
Not releasing games like these will net them a huge amount of console sales from the pc community that they otherwise would not have got. It is arguable however that they would still make more money by selling us the game instead of making us buy the console and game due to the fact not everyone is willing to part with so much money just for the privilege to part with more money to play a game.
