Red Dead Redemption 2

Or if anything like GTA V in 2 years... I certainly hope not?

Makes me want to buy a console again!

I think it will be much faster. They waited with PC version because they always intended to make the next gen version and had to refactor the engine from cell/powerPC to X86. Now the game is already running on x86 PC-like consoles.

Let's hope it is April 2019, can't seem to stop watching it on YT and Twitch. I'd of thought this year RDR2 for PC would have released alongside consoles.

This just arrived today. I really love this game - Rockstar's best by far. And I love Hitman :)

Blimey  How much that set you back?!

250 euros in total, RDR was 100 and Hitman 150. Hitman contains the game with all future expansions though, while RDR is just a box with stuff, but the game is not included (super dumb). I got RDR2 in exchange for God of War and Until Dawn which I already played, so I didn't mind that much.

So, about that PC version

Of course the usual suspects are shouting fakeeee but there was similar leak of GTAV PC footage, same shouters also shouted fake, and we all know how that ended up.

Regardless of whether this particular video is fake or not, the PC version is coming anyway of course.

Exactly what I did, haven't bought a console since the PS1 going PC all the way for years, but waited for black Friday deals and bought a PS4 for £198 with RDR2. The game is amazing and i'm so glad I bought it now so worth it, haven't enjoyed a game this much since FF7 lol

Why not just capture the screen rather than film on a Victorian camera

Because if you're at work or wherever and you know you're not supposed to be leaking anything, you can't set up and record on a PC and then copy it to a USB stick in the same time it takes to whip out a mobile phone. All phones when pointing at a TV screen will be blurry unless you tap to focus. Nobody seems to know that tapping on the screen causes it to focus.

I recently grabbed a PS4 copy from the MM to play on my PS4 Pro over Xmas since AC: Odysysyey is finished.

Despite the fact that Rockstar have made the game overly complicated and 'slow' to play, it is a lot of fun. Online is a dumpster, basically GTA Online at launch.

The game runs so well on the Pro that I can't see any point in me grabbing the PC version in future. The lighting engine is absolutely superb and the best I've seen since HZD. The level of world detail is quite astonishing to behold once you hit the bigger towns.

I didn't particularly find RDR on the 360 that good post game completion so I had my doubts about the sequel. However some 30hrs in and still in Chapter 2 I am having a good time - I can only play it for small 1hr sessions though as the slow nature of the game just wears me out! :o

Edit: Forgot to mention I HATE motion blur and there's no setting at the moment to switch it off.
