Red Dead Redemption 2

After tha shambles of the GTA 4 PC release and the stance rockstar took towards PC piracy at the time.. it was never going to happen.

The world has changed now however.

If it's piracy they're concerned about I still don't see why it would happen. Back in the day Denuvo was actually good and staved off crackers for months. They're nothing these days and even their latest protection gets cracked within days if not day release.

If anyone doesn't know, this is a essentially a prequel to RDR1. I didn't until I looked into it online after finishing RDR2 last night.

I'd give RDR1 a try on PSNow if you can stomach the graphics and fps.

I'd imagine the online multiplayer element will put people off pirating it (if its any good), I think RDR1 was single player only? Plus the likes of Steam and other launchers that you can download your game at full speed and then it keeps it auto updated with all the countless patches you get these days would be another reason people wouldn't bother pirating.

As, I understand various articles for Red Dead 2 it looks like a pc version will be released as, in a similar fashion to GTA V. I suspect a very long wait but surely everyone knows this.

RDR1 had multiplayer like GTA4. You could go about the open world, shoot each other a bit, do a few limited missions. There was no persistent online character like GTA online though.

There was a persistent character in RDR1 online, you could level up to 50, get mounts, new weapons, outfits, titles etc.

I HATE that I have to play this game on my ps4 at a shoddy 30 fps with motion blur :( I genuinely can't get into the game when it's this bad a performance. I mean the graphics are great, but it's god damn 2018 how can games still be 30 fps??? PC gaming has ruined all gaming for me haha going from a smooth ultra graphics 144hz monitor, to 30 fps I just can't deal with it. Really stopping me from getting into the game. What a shame

I had this idea...

...that as part of RDR2 they were going to put the complete RDR1 game in at the end. So after you've finished RDR2, you take over as John Marston and play through all the quests and stuff that are in RDR1 but all using the RDR2 assets. Half the map that was in RDR1 is in RDR2 anyway, they'd just have to age things a bit.

Can you imagine if R* had done that and kept it a secret until now?
You should send that idea to the devs ! *thumbs up !*

Been watching this game on occasion as Cohh has been streaming it and would love to see it ported to PC so I can have a go at it as well. If the first one would be as @ic1male suggested, that would be awesome since not played the first either ! :p

This game is a freaking masterpiece - the first game to reach Witcher 3 level. In some ways it is better, in others worse, but it is 10/10 experience. You can see the 1600 people working on it everywhere :)
