Red Dead Redemption 2

Now just imagine how much better it would be on PC !!
The graphics is amazing already, but I will definitely play it again in 60fps when PC version comes out. Hopefully they will also make some singleplayer expansions because this game deserves them, god dammit.

The Witcher with Cowboys?
Kinda. It has a similar flow, but there are lot of miniquests and events woven more organically with the gameplay. On the other hand, it has much more linear quest structure, missions are mostly predetermined. Both games are extremely well written and atmospheric though.

This place reminded me of Skellige

That's not what the average comment says on the RDR2 thread over in the console section :D

Concensus seems to be that it's let down by gaming mechanics and railroading.

I'm sure I'll pony up the mullah when it hits PC.

It does not surprise me, no game has ever appealed to everyone. Game mechanics I find to be fine even if the controls could use less input lag and better aiming, and railroading? Well yeah it is still not a full RPG. I do wish Rockstar would go even harder in that direction. But that's simply not what they decided to make, and I am not gonna decry orange for not being a lemon.

As lovely as the game is on the pro/xbx1....... being able to turn off chromatic aberration, vignetting & motion blur + run at 60 fps would be lovely......

BURN HIM MY BROTHERS!!!
There was PC code in the mobile app he's surely a heathen!

Wants us all to buy a console to play RDR2 on just like they did with GTA. I SHAN'T BE FOOLED TWICE ROCKSTAR?!

Following the GTA pattern it will release on PC and then likely release on the next gen as well.

I know it feels like they want you to double dip like with GTA, they got me with that too but there hasn't been one solid piece of tangible proof there is a PC version at all. Now I don't own a console either, just think its better to forget about it and if it comes out great, but if it doesn't... won't affect you. There are a lot of great games out atm so let this 24fps cinematic cowboy experience drift from your mind :D

This game is better than most those great games though :)
And it will come out regardless. GTAV sold around 20 million copies on PC, Strauss Zelnick will not let the opportunity to get 27th Lambo go to waste ;)

Damn it, I caved in last night and got this for PS4. That's my social life out the window for the next month or two...

I'd hope co-op multiplayer will be down the line for this - any rumours?

If you mean playing the singleplayer story in co-op, that will not happen. There will be Red Dead online, similar thing as GTA Online.

YOU HAVE MY AXE!

Lad down the road has this on his PS4 Pro and he's told me that the game isn't all that. Atmospheric as it is, it feels too much like clunky GTAV controls wise. I told him that clunky controls is a GTA/Rockstar trait from long ago. Anyhow I've learnt since that is is horse minding/walking simulator for the most part with quite a few good missions here and there. From what I could gather, he doesn't like the fact that you spend a lot of time hunting compared to RDR, which he played back in the day with me. It seems that Rockstar have forgotten about the fun aspect of their games - from what I've heard anyway.

I am still tempted by it tbh since AC:Odyssey is all but completed on my ends.

Nah, I'd be expecting a GTA Online style experience as you mention. Although, co-op campaign missions would have been nice.

Saw this and thought I share with you, it's only a bit under 9 minute's long but it shows they made the NCP to actually do some work around the game. Not sure if I would have the patience to follow NCP's around for this amount of time though. :p
