Red Dead Redemption Thread

I just cancelled my pre-order for the SE of this and put one in for the LE, didn't cost much more and seems worth it as there is mention that without the golden gunpack, some side missions won't be available to you ... dunno how much truth is in that but I've read it and been told by a few mates so for the little extra, seeing as this looks like a game I'm gonna love I thought I'd go for it.

Thats pretty cool then as most are doing the SE with the Assassin Outfit, not the Golden Gunpack.

But as I said, I don't know how much truth there is in my post about the side missions, I'm only going on what I've been told and read, but you seem sorted either way with that one.

Either way roll on 21st May ... lol

The Golden Guns give you more rep or something which leads to more side missions. The same can be achieved with normal weapons, but i think you just need to do more.

The Golden Guns probably just give 2x more rep per kill or something.

Ah ok thats sounds more reasonable, initially it sounded like they were keeping some side missions back exclusively for those with the Golden Guns.

for me yes! eg: The Quick and everyone else…
Be the top scoring player in any three consecutive FFA games in public matches

I'd imagine this will be rock hard to get: Most Wanted
Maintain a max wanted level for 10 minutes and escape alive in a public Free Roam session

and some of them sound like you need to play for an insane amount of time :(

Might be easier than you think, have to see how the game plays firstly, the ingame dynamics and so on ... or ... might be HARDER than you ever thought possible lol ... you'll find out soon ;)

I just got me Call of Juarez and Call of Juarez BiB to tide me over and get me into the "mood" of the wild west while I wait for this release ... and so far I'm enjoying them, bargin as well, both for just a snip over £20 :D
