Couldn't Rockstar just call this GTA: wild wild west or something? Its basically a GTA game from all the videos/articles I've watched/read.

RDR is GTA in the west. Its not a knock on the game, I'm just saying thats what it is.

Well no, I admit I am new to the franchise but previous Red Dead games have been a different style.

I assume R* had the GTA4 engine and decided to put the Read Dead universe into that style of gameplay, it's not as if they created this franchise a few months ago.

To be honest Rob this is one of the reasons I am getting excited by the game.
GTA4 works.

Watching the vids the transformation into the West/Cowboys has worked Brilliantly. :cool:

I've got High hopes for this game but then I've always wanted to wander around randomly shooting people in the face.

Lets split this crazy Cavern & head for the Hills, Yeeeeee Haaarrrrrrr !!!

Depends if you want the extra unlocks. If you think you will use them, then get it, but im just going for the standard version to get the experience that the game was originally made for. Don't want some uber gun or armour or whatever to help me through faster.
