doesn't the DLC/in-games items that come with the LE effectively make the game shorter and/or easier? I'm sticking with the regular one, for the moment, unless I've missed something.

Its actually (in theory) the opposite :eek:
The higher your Dead Eye the more missions you get, therefore LE players should have a lot more missions unlocked.
(This is AFAIK so I of misunderstood)
 
I think everyone is getting the same content, just some people get their quicker or easier. Someone has said in the thread that the golden guns are in the game already, you just get them unlocked early.

Again, whatever floats your boat. If you've got the money spare and think it's worth it you would be stupid not to get the LE.

Yup if I didn't get the Limited Edition free, I would have taken the standard edition. Not that I'd have to pay for that either.
 
I went for the Ltd Edition more for the CD extra, and just "having the LE" same as I did with JC2, rather than about the DLC, the extra stuff such as Golden Gun, Special outfit and War horse, I will not ue during the story mode as I want to play it as it is meant to be played, but If I feel like jumping in for a quick mosey and play around, I canslip on my DLC stuff, just nice to have it I guess, and there's really little difference between paying £36 & £42 for a game you really want...

They got ODST to me 4 days before release (best I've ever had) but I ordered Skate 3 from them, was dispatched Friday and still isn't here, hoping it'll come today.
