EDIT: Just watched the release trailer. Damn it looks great. Visually looks better than GTAIV. Motion capture on the faces looks unbelievable.

Wonder how big the game will be. (Keep thinking of these things only now! :p)

Reading around it seems people are saying it will be about 2x the size of GTA San Andreas. Apparently this was confirmed by Dan Houser.

So pretty flippin' massive then.
 
Can't wait to get the PS3 version. Embrace the jaggies and jaggy-'reducing' filter o' crap, lower frame rate and resolution. Then to realise, just like GTA4, the game was way over-hyped and suspiciously well reviewed...

I hope I'm very wrong.
 
After watching through some trailers again today, I'm very hyped as well for the LE soundtrack! :D Hoping if its here next weds/thurs to have the CD on for the drive/mosey to and from work on Friday :D
 
All I want from this is a free roam like GTA IV only where you can actually do stuff like side quests, missions, etc. Looks like it will deliver in buckets :) This is going to be one of those must have games I think.
 
I do hope it sells well. For some reason I just feel like no-one other than Rockstar followers and hardcore gamers actually know about the game!

If it had GTA written on it, it would sell loads as pretty much everyone owns a GTA game. But ask a random person in school or something about Red Dead Redemption, and I think they would say, "wut?".

Just imo of course.
 
I have no doubts that when released it will get the marketing it needs, if its a 9 or 10/10 game, it will be all over the review sites/magazines and Rockstar usually always get a few advertising campaigns going on mainstream TV.

We could be about to see the first real next gen GTA style game. (GTA IV was a bit of a let down compared to San Andreas in all honesty, even though it was great)

Here's hoping :D
 
It's going to be great. As an OCUK posse, we can go all-out having some gunfights in the wild west, complete with horses and revolvers. After raiding a few small towns and outposts and gathering the loot, we'll retire to the saloon for a few drinks and a game of hold 'em.

Rockstar are all out advertising this!
I saw an ace TV Ad for it Wednesday night and they have the biggest Billboard in Times Square (yeah I know that doesn't effect us).
Expect a lot more in your face stuff early next week, Rockstar's marketing hype machine will be in full swing no doubt.
I think it will be one of those games that builds (its no release day mega hit (and no GTA either)) its up to us to spread the word ;)

Can we play games like Poker online? As you never could play darts/pool online in GTA4 :(
