Red Dead Redemption Thread

I can't believe people are getting issues with lock ups etc, not had one problem of any sort with the game yet on the 360.

A Clint film I enjoyed was High Plains Drifter, pale rider was decent also and the 3 obvious classics he did.
 
I have had a few minor graphics issues. Once when I loaded it up yesterday the ground was grey. Took a few seconds to load up the textures then it was fine. And when it was raining in Thieves landing I was looking around and you could see through a few buildings. Only for a second or two.

Other than that all is fine.

I had one RROD and had to return my console to the competitor (I blame a freeze on the game as because I had to turn my XBOX off it corrupted my HDD giving me a HDD RROD!), Elite was only a few months old!

Although, since I have had my replacement I have not had any lock ups or freezes (touch wood!)
 
On RRD I really am not enjoying Mexico had more fun on the other areas personally, it looks great Mexico but its starting to make the game wear thin for me.

I only been playing for 14hrs and around 50% in, i can't see how some are getting 40hrs + i am not rushing through it and doing lots of different things purposely to keep it going.

I am always connected to live soon as my 360 is turned on, can't say i played on-line much though went on a bit of free roam with a mate going and taking gang areas but i see nothing lasting there for me, the sp is great loving that but i think the mp is something i won't touch much.

I'm always connected to live and I've only had 1 lock up in about 14 hours of gameplay, which didn't surprise me considering some of the strange noises that come from my X360 these days!
 
I wonder if you have miss read my post further up, i have no issues with this game on the 360, not one lock up/freeze since i have been playing it.
 
Played MP with a mate these last few nights, on free roam, but doing the bandit/law bringer stuff mostly – it’s been pretty enjoyable, but after doing all those missions, it’s got a little boring now.

Not played SP yet, but I’ve heard good things about it, I just wish that there was more co-op stuff for MP, guess I’ll have to wait for that add-on content, anyone know the ETA?
 
Haven't had any crashes here either, I've installed the game to the hard drive? Anyone that's crashing a lot on the 360 tried doing that?

EDIT: out of stock everywhere in the UNIVERSE even No competitors! Rockstar must be raking it in!!!

I had the funniest bug last night.

whilst doing the Funny Man stranger mission, I had to fight my way out of a hideout, and one dude was crouched behind a rock, he then came out fromthe rock crouched down and was spinning around the floor shooting in all directions across the road in front of me.

Hilarious to see.
