Red Dead Redemption Thread

i had another wierd bug last night,i was riding around and a man said quick bandits have stole my wagon,so i looked for it and it was at a bottom of a cliff in a river,the horses were trying to climb up the side but was too steep.Then it said "you have destroyed the wagon" i didnt even touch it :(
 
I had something simialr but not really a bug, went chasing after the cart, killed the driver and was away to jump onto the cart when it said that the man had died, i looked back and saw a train going past, only thing that could have killed him :(
 
Yesterday, I won a duel. But afterwards, I couldn't do anything. Well, I could walk about but couldnt interact with anything and there was no mini-map. Had to load an autosave.

Because level 3 allows you to not waste shots as soon as it hits the target, it allows you to choose the place where you shoot.

Level 3 allows you to press RB when you get to the area you want to shoot.

I got it last night, and it's certainly better than level 2.
 
The glitches in this game are so funny it makes me wonder if Rockstar coded them in on purpose. Horse carts with hydraulics, bird people, donkey women etc

I found a guy buried in the terrain with his hat poking out, I lasso'd him to get him out but he just turned his gun on me :(
 
I just got level 3 lastnight... Its so much better being able to pick your target, only problem was... I did not know I had got it till I ran into a wagon with a woman screaming, only to be ambushed by a gang... tried to use dead eye but not knowing i was on Lvl3, did not auto select... que me flying off my horse in a hail of bullets when I failed to shoot a couple of them :(
 
Wonder how messy the shotgun is doing this LOL

On another point, while looking around a cliff top in Mexico, I came across a Treasure spot, but as I had not found the map for it, it would not let me inspect the pile and get the gold :(
So much for Free roaming.... once I completed the previous treasure hunt and got the map, i was able to go back to the same spot and inspect/collect the gold.
 
There was a nun asking for help at the Union camp, I overshot her and the mission dissapeared. Around the same time the train had just come to a halt at the station so... I lassoed her and put her on my horse, rode along the tracks until my wanted wore off and placed her on the tracks.

I'm warming to it, but Rockstar must (MUST!) support this game like they did with GTA4 - even more so. They could add tons of high quality content to SP and MP, the latter is a bit sparse at the moment but what they do have is fun to play. Some things i'd like to see in updates/expansions.

* More customization over character online (how he looks, clothes etc)

* Owning own ranch with horses etc

* Owning own brothel/casino/store with whores etc

* Being appointed Sheriff/ U.S. Marshall with related missions.

* Running your own gang and having a gang hideout (in SP as i think this is
already in MP) and missions which reflect this.

* Indians....on a reservation or wherever but some indians would be nice.



ohh random question. Ive found plenty of carts/wagons with horses in decent condition.. anything i can do with them? Or they just useless?
 
i tryed mp but i was just getting killed while i was looking around to see what to do in free roam,soon as anyone seen me they just shot me even when i was on my donkey

Crash the cart and the horse should leg it.
 
Just had my first proper go at MP. Got to lvl 10 with my mate in my gang. Ended up having a stand off at some castle thing with 2 other randoms. Was probably the most awesome MP experience ever! Talking to the other guys like a cowboy, hearing "Im gonna run you outta town!" in a geordie accent....amazing.
