Red Dead Redemption Thread

WOAH major glitch in the game.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through, so I approach a yellow X to start a mission, after a long load time I'm ending up in a duel with some random, with a load of story skipped. I won't obiously say what happened but it left me really confused. Pretty annoyed now since it's not like I can go back to watch it.
 
Random question, my mates XBox seems to be chewing up his RDR disc, he's already replaced it once and now it's so scratched again it won't even load the game at all.

Other discs are fine, just wondering if anyone knows if this is happening to a lot of people or not?

The disc seems to spin up and then after a while you hear it rapidly decelerate and then making a horrible noise, often coinciding with something weird happening in game.

yeah you can, in the menu goto stats and then missions or something. i believe you can reply any missions again and again and again......;)
 
Hasn't disappointed me so far, I've had a couple of floating crate glitches and the only gameplay irritant I've found is being constantly plagued by enemies after killing the bounty target, they seem to keep spawning at regular intervals until you get back to the sheriffs office to claim the reward. Still, HUGE game, and a lot of fun so far, and my god its BEAUTIFUL !
 
I've been lucky enough to only have one glitch so far, where a character was replicated by the game so that there were two of the same character standing side by side talking at the same time, and that's only happened once.

I agree about the constantly spawning enemies when capturing a bounty being really annoying. I had one bounty mission where the horse I was riding died (of exhaustion I think) and I had to try to walk back to the jail with the bounty on my shoulders. After about 4 waves of respawning gang members I decided I couldn't be bothered to deal with any more and just shot the bounty :D

FreeRoam really is best with people you know, had some great games with Wingzero last night. It's not that hard to avoid the gangs and if you've got a couple of people you know playing sometimes it's fun to stand and have a mini gang fight with some others.

Oh and Wingzero, go pick up that TNT ;)

Git. Good fun that was last night. Glad I got rid of that Donkey.

I've had the duplicate character in a cut scene, floating crate's and a hard lock of my 360, not bad for nearly 60 hours of play time.
 
Just got into Mexico, gonna do the missions and sell the game, can never get into the rockstar side stuff, just hunting but hate stranger missions.
 
Puts on bandanna, walks into a saloon and starts shooting a load of people and then he says "My name is Marsdon remember that" it made me laugh the first time I was thinking to myself, well why dont you give them a DNA sample whilst your at it loooool.
