While the light bulb joke could well be the best lines spoken in the series .... and i think it is, i do think the whole tarantula eye the size of a meatball stuff was the biggest lols

Agreed. Red Dwarf at it's best is more like a play that a sitcom and Marooned is the most play-like of them all. It's why the first 3 seasons are so great. Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Flibble and the silly stuff as much as the next guy, but the real quality is in the earliest seasons.

For me it was the Polymorph becoming Listers underpants while Kryton tries to take them off an Rimmer walks in on them - actually started to have difficulties breathing I was laughing that hard the first time I saw it!

 
Polymorph has so many good scenes in it and yes the boxers one was hilarious, they tried to do the same in one of the more recent series with lister humping a vending machine but it wasnt quite as hilarious.

Lets be honest, there are too many really good RD scenes to actually say what one is the best as... well i will start arguing with myself over them given half a chance.
 
Who allowed this man, this pathetic man, this man who could not outwit a used teabag, to be in a position where he might endanger the entire crew? Who? Only a yogurt!
 
That cat dude isnt the same guy who played listers younger self from timeslides is it, he reminds me of him a lot in the first few seconds of seeing him. Emile Charles i think hes called.
