Probably more interested in the documentaries than the new episode to be honest, but i'll watch it nonetheless. I like the idea of something I used to love getting rebooted but it's almost always a disappointment and never lives up to the hype, some things should stay classic no matter how much we'd like there to be more content.

I think the point it really jumped the shark was when they got the new Kochanski character in. She was about as funny as herpes

Yep! And that coincided with new sets and it just didn't feel right.

I don't think they've had it for a while. Robert Llewellyn is so far up himself on social media that it's untrue.
Really?I don’t use any social media so I didn’t know that,disappointing.They’ll never be as good as the first 5 series or so,think most people would agree to that but I’ll still watch it for the funny lines.

He might have got better but I stopped following him on the build up to XI when he became insufferable.
I wasn't aware of that - any examples? He seemed to come across as a nice chap, but obvs not

It was nearly four years ago, I'm not going back through his twitter feed to find examples but it was enough to give me the hump at the time.
What's wrong with season 1?! 1-2 are the best of the bunch. 3 was great, going strong in 4, starting to slip 5 in and 6 had some good moments. From then on, toilet.
Still my fave comedy!

Season 1 just didn't "click" that well for me, it felt very disjointed and suffered from a cast who were obviously new to each other so hadn't gelled that well yet.
However once they'd sorted out those kinks ready for Season 2+ all the different parts just seemed to come together far better.
Psirens is the best episode. Soooo many good lines
