Yup, ditto. When people learn that what made a series great was the mentality of both the writers and actors at the time, when the series was hyped and they lived and breathed the characters. You can't expect repeats of such quality when you leave it ten years and then put the same actors back. It's not the same program it once was, and every second of this is just screaming "WRONGNESS" to me. it just doesn't feel right at all, same as the Blackadder "special editions". Rimmer seems lifeless, and line delivery feels completely flat. Uninspiring stuff.
