I have a problem right now (maybe since the patch?). First map which loads I have all my sounds as normal, but when the server switches, during the load I get a pop and all my sounds have gone. Only way to fix is to restart it seems. Anyone else experiencing this?

I found a topic regarding it on their forums but it is unanswered at the moment.

Damn this game is frustrating...

Ongoing issue that one unfortunately.

Anyone had this with a dedicated sound card or is it just onboard audio?

Pings are wild on this game - jumped onto another UK server and everyone was 200+

Get spikes in the ocuk server as well, never in firefights though, just when im alone in a building for some reason.

I just hope that they can fix some stuff sooner rather than later.

I get a slight juddering sound on first joining a round, sometimes on respawning, no crashes though. Using a dedicated audio card, Asus xonar DX.

My sound issue is that sometimes (always after a map change) my system just wont play any sound. Quitting out usually fixes it, but sometimes need a restart, none of the sound options/levels have changed. Using my mobos onboard currently, need to get a pci-e soundcard.

What's up with the ping?

It's showing 38 in the listing, but most of them are spiking upto 300 when playing!. Everyone was the same, one bloke had 400 but on average 200+

Went to a smaller server tonight 32-man. Enjoyed it far better. 64 is just too much imo. Still very annoying at times though the controls feel unresponsive and sluggish.

I've been in touch with John Gibson about the pings as ours were touching 200-300 at times on some maps.

Fingers crossed they can do something about that.

Ranked - unranked - ranked - unranked - ranked. It changes its mind more than my wife. Not that it matters though because even when ranked it doesn't actually log them.

This game seems to like killing my router, but it is not a BT or Thompson one as referenced in the TW support forums, its a Belkin. Anyone else had problems with it killing your net connection requiring a "repair", with a non BT/Thompson router, if so what is the fix?

The first time i heard it, i automatically thought of the juddering sound issue in bfbc2, surely not another game like that. Thankfully it only lasted a few seconds and no crash.

Had the same issues since Friday or thereabouts,also joined the OCUK server earlier,got into the game,spawned,then the game froze completely,not had the sound issue,yet.
My router is also not a BT/Thompson router,i'n on a virgin 20meg cable connection.
I'm about had it with this game at the moment,it was a birthday gift from my wife(15th Sep),so i have to keep trying to play it when she is about,not telling her of the problems thus far.
Just realised the irony,the game seems to work 10% of the time.

Only time that happened to me i had a modem hiccup which triggered a 'speedhack detected' warning and a session ban. Bleeding annoying.
