The problem is that owing to the server being "unranked" people will not touch it with someone elses big stick, therefore you have a perfectly fine working server sat there unused because nobody wants to play on it.
Frustrating even more as it was populating rather nicely since the upgrade to the 64 slots.
If somebody cares to check now, it does show in the ingame server browser as being "ranked", hoewever, the server admin controls report it is "unranked".
I feel sorry for TW in some ways as this is all down to teething problems with their server whitelist process. They did not want to force people to use "Official" GSP's to get "ranked" status as in BF: BC2 or in the case of COD: Black OPS... Just a single server provider (Most dumb ******* move ever). What they decided to do was to allow ANYONE reputable enough (GSP's. large clans etc) basically anyone who is not going to run hacked servers just to abuse the ranking system via registration, this also meant they could track the ranked servers easier and it gave clans more freedoms, especially those who allready have their own dedis.
So, for this, I applaud them for taking that step, it is just unfortunate that it is a mammoth task and teething problems are to be expected I suppose.
It will soon be sorted I have no doubt, TW are a honest Indie dev and they will not leave us with a broken game. As Knightstalker said below, the reason it is ongoing is that as they try to fix the problem, more unforeseen problems occur.
I will write a well contructed message to them though explaining my feelings as it is becoming rather silly as although I forgive them in part as they are a indie dev with limited resources, I have a paid for server sat there empty due to no fault of my own.
