Meh it aint that bad, degenrates into a camp fest but its still on a lot of rotations and doesnt cause the entire server to empty. Its a perch and shoot, definitely the most boring map but hardly a killer.

Reason I dont play OCUK server anymore is that it disappeared from my favourites. Every other one still there. Will hunt it down again someday.

By the way, anyone know why my console wont appear? Trying to check out my fps but tilde key does nothing...
 
Disagree FF can be fun. Yes it has open spaces you have to use tactics and cover.

You should have played some of the early RO maps back in the day, where most maps were large open spaces. Not like this with the current crop of maps as there is little reward for rifle players.
 
I agree that the bigger RO1 maps are missing.

Roll on when the SDK is officially released.

I want to get tanking.

The server was constantly full untill the BF3 BETA release. Either coincidence, people cannot see the server or nobody wants to play?

I personally wouldn't want to see Fallen Fighters go, just make every match the best of one round, so you don't have to play a potential 3 rounds on this map. This also means you get you stats updated after a single round every time, rather than at the end of a best of 3 match, so if you want to quit early for some reason you don't lose *all* your stat/unlock progress upto that point.

With Fallen Fighters I get a sort of perverse gratification by sprinting to the cap zones dodging base camper fire. I also think this map benefits from realism, i.e. no mini map and no kill cam, as it allows you to pick off noobs trying to flank round the edges to get to the opposing spawns for "teh killz", and they don't know where the shot came from so they don't know where to look for your on their next noob run, whilst you rack up team points. Infact I would prefer it if kill cam was disabled altogether on all maps.

Survey isn't submitting properly for me (might be works proxy)

No. of Slots: 48

These seem to be the best slot limit, always seem to be full.

Only issue I have with 32 slot is with the bigger maps it seems to drag out a bit with 16 v 16.


Kill Cam: Off

Yes you might get the odd person camping somewhere but 90% of the time you either hear or see the muzzle flash of where you got killed so you can always go back and hunt them down.


Additional info

  • Remove FallenFighters, I know there are a few people who like it but the majority of the community at the moment don't like it.

  • Keep the win limit at 2
  • I would prefer to see it go TE only for a little while to get it popular again, with the following rotation.

    TE-Apartments
    TE-Barracks
    TE-CommissarsHouse
    TE-GrainElevator
    TE-PavlovsHouse
    TE-RedOctoberFactory
    TE-Spartanovka
    TE-Station

I usually play on Brothers Realism server (since the decline on ocuk server)

There was a good server myself, Jazz and Damien where on last night before it crashed :(

Can't remember the name of it now.


Both are TE Only servers

Thanks mate, will add you as a friend on steam if you don't mind. I think I might have been playing in that same server last night seeing as mine crashed too! ;)
 
Can run BF3 all on high with smooth frame rates, i can't even run this all on Medium with smooth frame rates. Seems to have gotten worse since the latest patch. :/
