Ronnie’s not having the run of the balls when trying to break the pack this evening.
 
I'm 60/40 in favour of Carter, it would be great to see him win but it's still also great to see Ronnie win, despite me not admiring him as I used to, as a player yes, big fan, no denying his talent and commitment to the sport.

Also, Carter winning would hopefully shut the crowd up a bit.

Interesting stat from BBC earlier, Ronnie hasn't won more than one major a season apparently? I find that hard to believe.

He won the worlds and the UK in 2008. You sure you heard it correct?

Maybe it was back to back?

I know only Davis, Hendry and Williams have won the triple crown in a season.

I went out to make some late dinner and came back to see it's 6-6. I knew Ronnie would find his mojo eventually. I still hope Ali can find some magic and pull ahead.
 
Don't know why Ali potted the red over the pocket directly, instead of playing another red onto it, left a tricky pink that he missed. All square again at 7-7.
