Red, Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink and Black. It's the General Snooker Thread!

Selt's behaviour there was unheard of when I was playting in the Southampton billiards league games, at pro level that's not good. Without seeing the rest of the deciding frame, he has 11 points on the board, so he must have had his chance. Flukes happen, but to go across one the jaws of one baulk pocket jaw to drop in the other is pretty rare... Will be interesting to see if WST fine Selt or give any other penalty.

Judd apparently thinks the 1 million for the 167 isn't really enough to make him focus on it as it wouldn't change his life that much, but if it were 10 million he would go for it.

he should not get any points or money for the tournument at least in my opinion

So Allen won, no offense to the boy, but I'd rather go bungee jumping with a barbed wire cable tied around my taint as the bungee cord, than watch any more than 10 minutes of his tedious play. He makes Selby look watchable, and that's almost an impossibility.

I've not watched him recently, has he slowed down a lot? I usually find him decent, especially around the black spot.

I'm not sure he is consistently playing much slower recently, but he's certainly experimented with playing slower than Selby in some matches and it's a horrid watch for me.

He plays much better when like his old usual self, when in the balls.
