Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Redurb'd Nvidia GTX570 problems

Yeah, I was certainly disappointed to have paid for postage both my way and back to OCUK and to have none of it refunded as part of the RMA.

Its not my fault that the card was not as described

:(

IMHO and from past experience, the safest option is always to DSR faulty hardware, requesting a full refund. It avoids any arguments or confusion regarding whether the card is really faulty or not.

FYI

Unless the retailer states otherwise, they are not responsible for the return postage under DSR. OCuk says...

"Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) you have the right to cancel the contract relating to your order at any time up to the end of 7 working days after the goods are delivered. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Overclockers UK by letter, fax or RMA WebNote giving details of the goods ordered and date received. Notification by phone is not acceptable. If you exercise your right of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Overclockers UK at your own cost. "

PS. Though I do sympathise with folks that have had problems like stated in this thread.
