Yeah it's an issue. 16 is too young. Not in the physical sense, but Good God she's still a girl. Plus if he grooms her now from a young age, it'll only get messy later when she blossoms into a stunner at 21 and dumps his ass.

Age does matter to an extent, all depends as Fox has already said what stage in life they are in.
Currently going with someone who is 23, me just turned 21 and altough it did bother her a wee bit, we don't notice.
Know a girl who is with a 40yo and being 20, they claim they are in love, I don't understand that though.

Our nation seems very hung up on peoples ages. Personally as long as they are men rather than boys (or replace with your gender of choice) I don't see what the problem is. As for whether they are men or boys, thats not purely dependent on age. Some 21 years old look like 'men' are are mature, some 21 year olds still look like school boys and act like they are too! I suppose ideally once you get to my age (35) + or - 10 years would be perfectly OK, but as I said would really depend on the individual.
I suppose the main problem is when 'adults' are very young. I have yet to see a 16 year old that really does look like an adult. Some are quite grown up and don't act like your average 16 year old, but they still aren't emotionally mature yet.
