Relationships: Is age a issue to you?

I know a 27 year old italian girl. I'm 34. I don't see much of a problem however I think it depends on the personality of the girl - sometimes that little bit of playfulness that a younger partner brings can add to it. Other times it can be annoying because I am looking at settling down and kids (because my friends are perhaps *shrug*). I know she has no appreciation for that part when we discussed what we both wanted in life (in say 5/10/20 years).

I know of a 26 guy married to a 30's woman and he's very mature for his age and they're looking at having kids..

the biggest gap has been me 39 she was 26(the age difference had nothing to do with the split)
im now with somwone thats 38 and im 45 now
if you 2 are happy it doesnt matter what anyone else says or thinks about it, its your two`s lifes
 
I also think its down to maturity, every girl is different but from my own experience girls who are 16/17 are very immature and naive when it comes to relationships. I'm only 20 but I much prefer girls my own age and would always think twice about starting something with a girl who's 16/17.

Yeah you do have a point, I'd say this gal is pretty mature though from what I know.

Recently dumped boyfriend for being a scrounger (living at her house, his mum kicked him out) and for smoking weed and being a general ****.

Going to watch Cloverfield next week with her though so. :D

I met my first wife when i was 19, she was 26. I left her when I was 30 for a woman of 37 who although absolutely cracking in bed with a body you can only dream about was thick as pig **** and hung up over splitting up with her hubby.
The woman i am marrying on the 23rd of this month I've been with a year I'm 31 she is 35.

Although there are some right stunners under 30 and one or two really nice girls to talk too, i cant as a rule, be doing with them.
 
Depends really, you do a lot of growing up in the 16-20 barrier. If you're simply looking for a girl who lays on her back then yeah, knock yourself out boning a 16 year old. If you want anything more, you need a more mature lady IMO. When both parties reach 20+, I really don't see an issue with age gaps. It's just that lower bracket for me. If you're at the maturity level of a 16 year old then score :D
 
When my boyfriend and I started going out I was 16 and he was 20 still together 2 and a half years later.
As long as she is genuniely a nice girl and isn't doing it to say she's going out with an older guy and vice versa then there is nothing wrong with it. People will see that they're in a relationship because the like each other and not for the kudos that comes along with it.
 
There are so many factors which could be said in either argument, but as long as it's legal, and they are both happy, who is to say it is right or wrong.
