Exactly. I have a 64GB C300 and absolutely love it. The read speeds in my HTPC are great.

I'm so pleased with my SSD that I will be getting one for my gaming PC soon

From Crucial:

The C400 SSD is a Micron drive only. However, we will be launching our own new SSD line later within the quarter. The Crucial branded drive will be called the m4.

The OCZ vertex drives have in the past used sandforce controllers which boosts speed using compression.

I prefer non compression based controllers.

If Gibbo is referring to the ones which were listed on their website but were then taken down shortly after, it's the Intel 510 Series (Elmcrest) SSD's. It appears review websites are getting them today, with PC Perspective having just received their sample.

Yes, in my sig.

C300 is ok,read/write up and down, firmware is pretty pants.

X25, rock solid, and great firmware. You can trust Intel to do a great job.
