Report of rioting in Birmingham City Centre

Like I have already stated.

  • Immigrants DO apply for social housing (not saying they should not, just saying)
  • There is not enough social housing to go around for the natives let alone adding more and more immigrants to the list.
  • The natives that can work should work. They should do any job low skilled or otherwise. We do not need low skilled immigration if the natives had there benefits withdrawn for refusing to get a job
But everyone has a right to have there own property, but they dont. As a community we decided that everyone hasnt the right to build own their own home. We as a comunity have set up rules to punish the weak. what right as a comunity do we have from preventing people to build their own homes?
The idea of home ownership is to profit, from those that dont have who want to have.

The sooner these disgusting nazi skinheads are locked up the better!

*sighs*

Since when did this become a win/lose debate? I simply asked a question, using the word "guess" as I knew I was making an assumption and you have at least gracefully responded with some statistical data.

Take a chill pill.

I do not dislike you.. just your posting style :)

Its like you enjoy watching people people to hunt the net to back up simple common sense stuff like 'many people in social housing have jobs'.

I mean was that really necessary if you are being honest?

Why though? Is there a large amount of immigrants there?

I don't really want to get involved too heavily either, I'm not in this thread to argue as such, as no-one's minds will be changed with regards to this subject matter.

Well, I don't think it is a large amount - but they do get an awful lot. Be they just asylum seekers or immigrants. A relative works for social services there, so this isn't a rant.

E.g. they get given a car to drive to interviews for jobs etc.

Well that unfortunately is a misjudgment on your part.

I mean was that really necessary if you are being honest?

Yes, it is necessary to use statistics to back up or disprove a claim. Unless you're assuming I knew that most people in social housing had jobs but why would I just 'know' that?.

Lots of posters on here post sources for whatever and by doing it, it saves time by not letting a discussion drag on unnecessarily over a point that could have easily been proved earlier on. :)

ban all religions in the uk tbh.

every one of them, no churches, mosques anything. can practice in your own home but that is it. None of this crappy "muslim/christian/jew" state etc. It's all bum fluff propeganda in the end. And I would rather fight for mine and my sisters freedoms than to put up with my sister wearing a headscarf or me being forced to go to church on a sunday. It was a long long long time ago since we moved off religious laws. And I'm hoping a lot of backward races would bloody follow suit and instead of following a figment of their imagination to follow the people that are in their life.

I hate it when people say "I *KNOW* how the earth was created. Load of *** and their fools for even contemplating the universe was created with such a basic concept.

long story short. I hate humanity some times.

But everyone has a right to have there own property, but they dont.

Where have you got this idea from?

As a community we decided that everyone hasnt the right to build own their own home.

Yes, we have property laws and planning permission. Or do you have a better alternative for when you've abolished them?

We as a comunity have set up rules to punish the weak.

What rules would they be then?

what right as a comunity do we have from preventing people to build their own homes?
The idea of home ownership is to profit, from those that dont have who want to have.

How so?

Well the opposite of many would be what your were trying to say which was people in social housing are long term unemployed? And to me that just seemed totally wrong from my life experience, everyone I have known in council houses was in employment (mainly both adults but at least one).

So I can only assume you are either from an affluent area or a very deprived one to have thought the way you did?

Based on the idea that we are temporary residents on this planet, so who has teh right to say no you can't build your home?
having shelter is the most basic human right.

You're right, I've only ever 'known' one family who now lives in council housing so my knowledge of it is limited. I wouldn't call where I live affluent but I don't think think there are many (or any) council houses nearby where I live.

Well I apologise for getting my knickers in a twist anyhows :p

@ At those posted pics... I seriously hate mob mentality so much! It just looks a gathering of all the local violent braindead sheep :(

Here is my opinion:

You want to incite hate against imigrants, those of a different race in this country, you can go **** off.

You want to move here and expect things to change to how they do things in your country? You can go **** off too.

There most likely are, seeing as when Thatcher came in to power, nearly 2/3 of houses were council owned.

We just need to get over this not in my back yard attitude which primarily comes from the more affluent and politically powerfil areas and do what needs to be done and build enough houses. When there are enough, they'll eventually pay for themselves and there will be a huge drop in the proportion of council tax that private landlords are raping from us in housing benefit.
