A tailor to make you some jeans? and or a nice going out shirt? It doesnt have to show a huge logo to be brand name, most of the up market stuff is quite concealed, im not sure what you are referring to really.
You sound like a narked off 50 year old dad that hates buying his kid the latest stuff

. I will quite happily spend 100 quid on a pair of jeans if they fit and look good, they dont have big logo's on them thats not what you pay for.
50? lol, i feel older. im actually 27.
I refuse point blank to pay more than 50 euros for any item of clothing bar coats and shoes.
A nice going out shirt for where exactly? I don't bother with places that have a dress code- its pseudo-pretentious crap. It doesnt mean you get better people, you just get 'better dressed' tossers than you do outside.
If the fact that I have money to spend isn't good enough for me to get in, then tough, I'll go spend it somewhere else. Your loss.
I don't go clubbing. Ever. The music is horrible (be it awful commercial dance, dodgy 70's music, truely awful watered down r&b and so on), the drinks are overpriced and somehow they even make bottled lager taste dodgy, and some nigerean guy keeps trying to attack me with perfume in the bogs (ok...not every club, but it happens far too much...is he supopsed to be some kind of valet or something???).
Now don't get me wrong- I like most kinds of music, but I like my music to be of some artistic merit, be it a decent live DJ, live music or whatever.
However, most clubs don't play decent music. They play the mass produced 'fashion' version of the genre, usually DJ'd by someone who thinks DJing involves knowing how to use a set of cd decks, or some total muppet from the local radio station.
Granted there are a few really decent venues, which justify the pretentiousness and inflated prices, but they are few and far between.
I'm far happier just going down the pub to be honest. Generally speaking I don't even go that far. I just have some mates round for beer instead. Maybe a barbecue out on the balcony in summer, otherwise we might get some multiplayer gaming going, or just chill out and chat about stuff.
If I'm going out to eat or to some function or another, I'll wear a shirt, certainly, but its just a shirt...its not like someone will be checking the brand, I'll buy one in dunnes (irish department type store, not expensive) or something. I definitely won't be buying from next or topman or *shudder* gap.
