), another time, as going to start Exodus Finished today as well, first playthrough faffing about hence the long time and many saves
Pretty cracking game and pretty tense. I wasn't totally *****ing my pants but certain moments were unsettling and some enemies were pretty annyoing to avoid which doesn't make me look forward to my hardcore playthrough And the Tyrant does make me quite nervous

Awesome game, dark and atmospheric, the sewers area is great.
Completed it as Leon and Claire.
My only complaint is it was over far too soon.

I've already started hardcore with Claire A, won't be doing an S+ Rank run as I prefer to have fun with the game. I want to unlock Leon B, get all the Raccoons and notes, complete a B scenario to get the true ending (maybe even on Assisted) and dabble with bonus modes.
With what I paid for the game, I think I'll get my money's worth with just 2-3 playthroughs, not really a speedrun guy. First playthrough was great fun.

Got a small dilemma. I'm on Claire A hardcore at around 21minutes, just made my first save.
2 out of 3 medallions, zombies around armory and in the library cleared, safes/lockers unlocked got the red jewel, grenade launcher and all the stuff I could get and dropped it in the box. 65 handgun ammo and 1 slightly damaged knife on me.
However, I screwed up at the library bit and had to use a first aid spray and then g+r herb combo. I've got 1 spray, 1 g+g herb combo and 1 solo green herb in the box.
Should I restart to do this perfectly or just continue, making sure I don't take any damage in the next bit? How liberal were you with healing on your hardcore runs? This is not an S+ run, just going moderately fast and with as little saving as possible but I want to be sure if I'm all right regarding healing.

What's your goal exactly? Different limitations on saves/heals for ranking vs achievements.
No real goal, just want to make sure I'll have enough healing items to get through the game just in case. My only goal is to finish Claire A on hardcore since my first run was Leon A on standard to get a feel for things but I'll just press on and restart from last save if I get bitten too much.

Never did get my hands on the Magnum or find the heart key...
Great game though. If only the RE1 HD remake didn't have those damn ribbons - I'd love to play it right through but I need to decide when I've finished a gaming session - not an ink ribbon...

I can't remember where i got the magnum from
i think it was in the armoury, in the S.T.A.R.S Office, which you unlock by the computer, with the USB dongle (that looks like a S.T.A.R.S badge), when you get it
Don't know if i found all the raccoons either, although probably not, as no doubt there would have been an Achievement for that too, i'll have to check
