**** it, pre-ordered from CD-keys.

Even at the series worst, I've never been massively disappointed with any of the major numbered Resident Evil games (I even racked up 26 hours on Resident Evil 3 to unlock everything)

Soooo not a game update but thought I’d share what I got up to yesterday :o :p

Turns out that Capcom have got permission from Schott to use one of their B3 bomber jackets for Leon in the remake.

It’s seriously expensive and seriously warm… but, YOLO? Ahh - I’ll buy it at a high price!*

*well maybe not quite yet as I’m on a weight loss mission and it’s going into summer. But maybe next winter when I’ve lost a couple of stone!

I actually preordered in the end, first time in my life, but on the PS5 for the steelbook and the option to sell it on.

Would've gotten the PC version normally but the game begs for a big OLED and I have no way to use that with my rig currently so PS5 it is. Also, it's probably less likely to suffer from issues on release, like Hogwarts Legacy.

If I catch a whiff of the game possibly not turning out that great, I'll just cancel:P I doubt that, tbh, especially that the RE2 team handles it.

Well, because that's what it was but it was also a great game in its own right, one that I have a lot of fond memories of playing with my best friend so it's an easy purchase for me. And I never preorder stuff.

Was it a good RE game? No, I think I've already mentioned that here:p Still, I'm going to play the hell out of it.

This. It indeed was where RE games went downhill for me. I did not enjoy the game much as an RE game, but really enjoyed as a game if it makes sense.
