Resident Evil 4 - Wii

Sod that...

Its dark outside.. plus I can hear the Wind and the rain. Plus everone is in bed so the place is quiet anyway other than me.

Just made it to the first village, ran out of Ammo, pooped my pants, then died :(

This game is VERY atmospheric. As a PC gamer, I wasnt expecting this type of experience on a console... not sure why.

The "realtime" FMV sequences are great.

If I didnt have a Wii, would love this on the PC.

I think Eurogamer smoke crack.

The only bad review ive read. Not heard a bad word about it anywhere else.

Is the above true?

They do have a point. It takes some getting used too, also the fact you can't move while you shoot takes a bit of getting used to. I had/have a nasty habbit of still pressing up on the analogue stick (to walk forward) while pressing the aim on the wii remote, causing the view on screen to start looking up, which was a bit infuriating for a while, but you do start to get used to it.
I think it may have been better if the screen autoscrolled when the crosshairs got to the edges of the screen.
I have never played RE4 before and it is fab though, definately a must buy. :D

How did you manage that in resi 4 :o

I hope none of you are playing on easy as that really spoils the game IMO.

picked this up today, having never played resident evil 4 before. previously code veronica on the dc was my favourite. ive only played a few hours of this but already love it. controls work very well and its just really good fun to play. bargain really.

Hi, picked this up today for £25 and am happy with it. Though, the only question I have is does anyone elses have black borders down both sides where it does not full the screen. I have my Wii connected via a component lead on a 32" Sammy R73 @ 480p.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah i do, but they aren't that big or noticable

Popped out earlier and picked up a copy of Resident Wii-vil.

Took me a short while to get the hang of the controls but now it's full steam ahead.

Great game, now even better.
