Yeah regardless of it not being survival horror any more, it is still a fantastic co-op game, and one that I still regularly play.
I do wish that the campaign isn't scripted as hell with fixed amount of enemies in all the same spots though. It ends up being a competition of memorisation and being the fastest to kill at times. If only it was as randomised as the Mercenaries mode, which itself is also a very fun.
Resident Evil: Revelations for the 3DS is apparently trying to go back to the survival horror roots whilst keeping the now standard RE4/5 third-person perspective, so it will be interesting to see how that will turn out.
