Oh, ok. I thought that you might have to replay 'episodes' of the plot to complete the game, which would be terrible!
 
Can't wait for the re-boot of the series and RE6.

Although I am loving RE5 and cannot wait to play it some more, just got to the oil fields, and the chainsaw dudes that come through are insane.

Oh wait. I thought you meant Achievement points as in Achievements.

You don't get any extra Resident Evil points for finishing the game, but the higher the difficulty the more points you get.

Damn, I was talking about points in the game to unlock stuff like infinite ammo, not Xbox achievements :o

Oh well, only a Magnum with infinite ammo then, now only to decide if I should do the L.Hawk or M500 :(
 
the final boss is doign my head in, just keep running out of ammo. Ain tgot enough when I restart or enough cash to stock up either.

Go to 3-1 and get the Rocket Launcher from the half sunken boat in the middle, quit and get another one.

Maybe that helps with the fight (I am at 5-3 in my first run so don't know what fight it is and what tactic works best, but usually a RPG to the face works wonders :D )
 
quick question, if a friend plays with me online and joins my game, does he basically use whatevers in my inventory or does he use his own game save?

also will trophies/acheivements unlock for both of us as we progress online?
 
well you do need some knife attacks aint going to cut it!

ust completed the game last night and now have infinite magnum ammo, but theres a new magnum... its just that it costs 30k to buy outright, never mind upgrading!!

he takes in his own inventory and takes out whatever it checkpoint/saves as!!

so dont let him steal all of your ammo!!
 
Well i have just completed nearly everything :( All i have left to do is complete the game on pro. Which i can either walk through with infinite ammo for the hydra, Gatling gun, m3, magnum and rocket launcher OR start a fresh game from the start with no ammo etc etc lol

For people farming for treasure, don't bother. Just Duplicate far easier!

ah right that sounds ok :D

ok anyone else know what happens with the money earned? is that shared out or does only the host get it?

anything else i should know about co-op? i plan on finishing it on the weekend with a mate but don't want to be doing everything twice basically
 
I'd just like to add that this game is awsome! RE4 is my all time favourite game and this just follows on nicely! Its a good feature that you cant pause the game when swapping items etc, especially when there hordes of infected heading towards you! That makes you panic a bit!
It wouldve been nice though to have the guy there to sell/tupgrade your items rather than just a random screen though!
