Is it worth watching…. Umm, no, not really! It’s in the Resi Evil 6 era of Leon being a secret agent and therefore delves into ‘classified / conspiracy’ BS. The plot is absolute nonsense / forgettable and I was on my phone a fair bit in the last episode.

I did enjoy some of the more ridiculous cheesy Leon moments but I couldn’t ‘recommend’ it :o

By being on my phone, I mean browsing for a replica Leon jacket :D
I was disappointed when I saw the era of Leon they used. I said this looks like some of the movies. As you say RE6 era. What a load of crap then I guess. Shame as I think if they did one doing the original resident evil where they blend it between what is happening between RE1 and 3 would go down well. I certainly would love to watch it anyways.

Yeah I really can’t wait - should be good. I did actually binge the new Netflix series yesterday (post-work collapse) and it was as dreadful/wonderful as you would imagine :D :o

It wasn't groundbreaking, but i enjoyed it. I couldn't understand why Leon wouldn't let the bad dude show himself on TV though - US President broadcasting across the globe, it would have made sense to show the what is happening - but Leon chose not to let that happen.

I don't know wtf was happening with Claire's mouth/chin, but it didn't look right. Also, i'm playing some old Res Evil games and CR is a bad ass, why has she been sidelined as a non-combatant?!

I enjoyed the story, the acting, graphics etc - worth a watch if you are a fan of Res Evil.

Decent shooter? Think your in the wrong thread mate.

Umm, why? Are you going to insist this is a survival horror game and like previous RE games? It's unlike even 7 and way more bombast and ridiculous from what I've seen. I'm just taking it for what it is, an atmospheric shooter with horror and exploration elements.

I don't think there's a review out there that doesn't acknowledge the game's action-heavy and overall less reliant on actual horror/survival/puzzle elements, don't know why my comment ruffled your feathers.

I think I'll have fun with it still. I meant that I hope it at least works decently when it comes to shooting mechanics since it's more action-oriented.

Take the tampons out of your eyes and learn to read. And spend some time on grammar and spelling instead of getting your knickers in a twist over someone's opinion.

It's way closer to an action game and has a lot more shooting, have evidence to the contrary? No? Then shut up and get lost, kid. I didn't mean it's literally a shooter like COD but I guess you're incapable of understanding that judging by your childish response.

The shooting parts are literally slowed down in this game. It's no more a shooter than doom is a rpg.

Get lost kid? Lols.

Saw the deluxe edition for £21.99 at CDKeys and bought in a jiffy. Looking into this now it seems the deluxe edition isn't really worth much, you really only get an under-powered non-upgradable handgun in the game.

Glad I checked this thread though regarding issues in the steam version. I imagine these would be more pronounced on a 4790k so the unofficial patch should really help.

I find it difficult to resist just because my OCD demands I have all the boxes ticked in the Steam DLC list. :D

Haha. I know the feeling, but the status of my wallet supersedes my OCD for that, so I can deal with it. Plus it helps that I see that stuff as digital tat :D

Been playing this a second time and I have to say if you ever get to play it in HDR then do so as it makes a very big difference to IQ. By the way when I say HDR I mean proper HDR like on OLED, not those fake IPS 400/600 ones that have a few dozen back lights.

My favourite area in the game is the castle with the vampire ladies. The main hall with the chandelier looks awesome in HDR :D

Cannot agree more there. I played it on a decent "gaming" monitor which was still over £1000 but playing it on my LGCX48 made the difference in HDR so glaringly obvious it made it a different experience. Its not so much the light or the dark ,its the parts in between that were suffering.
