AMD had a chance at an easy win here. They could have enforced the MSRP easily enough. The card is only compelling at the £569 price. Without that 'discount' you're approaching 5070ti FE price.
Not yet, no, but I'm in no hurry to get screwed. Just because Nvidia is screwing us, doesn't mean I'm willing to let AMD screw me a little less. Both companies should be punished for their anti-consumer practices, and AMD could have made it so these particular models like the pulse continued to receive the discount.Last I checked a 5070 Ti FE doesn't exist.
So there's no charitable trickle of MSRP cards on the Nvidia store. Just 5070 Ti's approaching a full grand in regular shops.

EDIT: and just to clarify, I am in no way blaming ocuk. I know this is something not in their control.
Gamers nexus videoWhich reviews are suggesting a 100W difference?
Maybe if you run it for 8 hours a day for 3 years at max gaming all the time. Good luck staying awakeFrom reviews the 5070 ti is more efficient than the AMD counterpart using on average 100w less power for similar performance. 5070ti will pay for itself over time

On the white version I've seen the fans are RGB. Just plain black on the black versionThe pictures of the Asrock Steel Legend show coloured fans. Are these RGB LED's or are the fan blades actually coloured plastic?
So the colours shown in all the pictures are RGB lighting and the fans are plain white? On the white version I've seen the fans are RGB. Just plain black on the black version
Apart from some edge cases the vast majority of people would not be able to tell the difference between a 9070XT and a 5080FE at stock. Not yet, no, but I'm in no hurry to get screwed. Good man yourself. Could be tempted by that or the Pulse white.Yes.
There looks to be a 1 per customer limit in place - which should at least slow them down a bit.Are you putting any measures in place to counter bots or do you feel the volume of stock is enough that it makes not purchases irrelevant?
£800 nearly for some 9070XT, crazy for me, my 4080 was £800 2 years ago
Even at the previously displayed "10x" plug price for the Sapphire Pulse (£629 as I remember) the 9070 XT was not awful by comparison. On the basis that the 5080 costs around 1350 to acquire , the AMD launch price is incredible value on that basis that you'll be actually able to get one.
